The atmosphere of a country hotel in the "Gaststube" combine with the elegance of the "Blaue Salon". Here our guests can enjoy tasty meals and selected beverages, either at a festive table or at convivial afternoon coffee table. From the mayor`s room and from the terrace with the beergarden you can look out onto the ancient St.Stephanus and experience the romance of a heath-village in summertime. Spending a summer´s evening in the shady inner courtyard is a completely special experience.

The “Acht Linden” is well known for its traditional quality of being warm and welcoming to guests and visitors and its good, tasty meals. Regional and seasonal recipes receive special attention when cooking and preparing the meals.
A speciality is the roast German moorland lamb, which is prepared according to a traditional recipe and is a special delicacy and one of the highlights of the Lueneburger heath cuisine. We are inspired by local cooking and always try to use fresh produce from the Lueneburger heath area. The variety and excellence of the fish and vegetable market in Hamburg are also bases of our cooking.
